Our Story

The Little Learning Academy was founded in 2025 by Kim Quick, our owner and director. Ms. Kim began her journey in early childhood education in 2008 while raising her two daughters. What started as a substitute position at a local childcare center quickly turned into a passion for teaching. She rapidly advanced from teacher to Assistant Director, discovering not only her love for educating children but also for supporting and working with teachers. She eventually ran the same childcare center for over 10 years, where the teachers and children became family. After considering retirement, she realized she could not step away—she missed the smiles, laughter, and creative learning moments.

With The Little Learning Academy, Ms. Kim's vision was to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive through play. She is dedicated to fostering a positive, family-oriented atmosphere for everyone who walks through the door.
